Reburon, University of Northern Philipines (UNP) Criminology Study Program on May 14, 2025 via zoom.
Expert speakers on this webinar share their experiences and knowledge about cybersecurity and how to deal with digital security threats. This webinar is part of an effort to increase awareness and knowledge of cybersecurity among the people.

Mrs. Fitri Yani, M.H. From the Faculty of Law, University of Potential Utama (Upu), gave a deep direction on how to integrate cyber security in his institution. He also mentioned the current laws that are being applied in Indonesia. He stressed that, "The United States, with longer experience in dealing with cyber crime, has a more mature system with a strong multicectoral approach and coordination between institutions. Indonesia will adopt their best practice to deal with cyber crime."

Mr. Dr. Arlan Reburon from the Faculty of Criminal Court Education UNP discussed the CIA triad and the basics of cyber security from the perspective of criminology. He ended his presentation by quoting, "Cyber ​​security not only includes computers and codes, but also keeps people and organizations safe from online threats through vigilance."
